2025 Summer Reading Program

Join us at the Greenwood Area Library for a summer of reading and activities for all ages! Begins June 9 and runs through August 29th.

Summer Reading Programs

Read for Prizes!

Sign up is required for the Summer Reading Program. Stop by the library to sign up and get your reading logs! Sign up will start June 2nd.

Grades 4k-5th

Read 20 books by August 25th to win a prize!

Fill out your reading log and turn it in by August 25th. You will recieve a prize and raffle tickets for a chance to win a grand prize.

Participate in other summer programs to earn extra raffle tickets for grand prizes.

Grades 6th-12th

Read 9 chapter books by August 29th to win a prize!

Fill out your reading log and turn it in by August 29th. You will receive a prize and raffle tickets for a chance to win a grand prize.

Summer Adventure Scrapbook

Every Monday in June & July

10am till 5:30pm

We have the perfect way for you to memorialize your summer! Stop in to work on your scrapbook on mondays in June & July. A variety of supplies will be availabe for you to use.

LEGOS at the Library

Wednesdays starting June 11th

Noon till 2pm

Kids, Tween & Teens are invited to design, create and build!

Sidewalk Chalk Days

Every Friday in June & July

10am till 5:30pm

Swing by the Library & create something unique for everyone walking by to enjoy! Chalk will be provided. 

Camp Cookout Book Review

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

July 15th at 6pm

Stop by for a fun storytime, tuck your stuffed animal in bed for the night and pick them up the next day!

Summer Diorama Book Review Contest

Choose a book you have read and create a diorama based on it.

You may submit one individually or as a family.

Diorama’s are due for voting by August 1st.
